Dit seizoen heeft het Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest Rolf Martinsson als huiscomponist en Augustin Hadelich als huissolist. In dit concert treffen de twee elkaar voor het eerst. Op het programma Open Mind van Martinsson, hier voor het eerst in Nederland uitgevoerd. Daarna betreedt Augustin Hadelich het podium voor het indrukwekkende Vioolconcert van Jean Sibelius uit 1905. Als slot de Eerste Symfonie van Johannes Brahms.
